Why it matters
An unbalanced spindle produces vibration. Vibration lowers surface quality, shortens tool and bearing life and, over time, also affects the accuracy of the machine.
Vibration measurement shows the source and size of the problem in numbers. Balancing is done on the machine, without removing the spindle.
